Team in Training

Hello Team:
 
This Saturday we are at Busse Woods at 7:00AM. We will have a nice and easy 90 minute training session. Please bring water/sports drinks and other various items you want to try. Now is the time to experiment with the different types of sports drinks/gels/beans and blocks. You do not want to try anything new on race day. Also, you may want to consider a new pair of running shoes. We have been putting a lot of miles on our shoes since February and your shoes may be breaking down. We have about 1 month before our big race, and you want time to break in new shoes. Many of you have asked me about speed workouts. Wednesday night track workouts will not start until the Chicago Marathon training starts at the end of May.Therefore, I have attached an article that Stacey came across for track workouts that you may try on your own. Finally, I have also attached an article that Stacey found on Calf Cramps and IT band issues. Please read them at your leisure. As always, if you have any questions or comments, please contact me.
